Esther Mae "Bo-Peep" King (Francis) Darnell was born August 12, 1921 in Madison County, Missouri the daughter of Sherman William and Dora A. (Miller) King and passed away on June 24, 2009 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 87 years.
Bo-Peep was preceded in death by her parents, one (1) sister Lester Mae (Brewington) Edwards and One (1) brother Billy Earl King.
Esther married Leo Harry Francis November 22, 1939 in Madison County, who passed away in 1956.
She later married James F. Darnell on November 28, 1964 at Farmington.
Bo-peep is survived by her husband James F. Darnell, One (1) son Donald Lee Francis, Two (2) step-sons Jim Darnell & Clarence "Skip" Darnell. One (1) daughter Doris Marie (Francis) Firebaugh & One (1) step-daughter Vonna (Darnell) Burnett. Four (4) grandchildren, Ten (10) grandchildren, Eleven (11) great grandchildren and Eleven (11) step- great grandchildren
Esther was treasurer for the assembly of God Church for 11 years, located in Berkley. Missouri. She also enjoyed sewing her own clothes, crafts, crossword puzzles and helping family & friends when in need and at church.
Bo-Peep was a member of Calvary Temple Church.
