Eshter Alleyne (Sitzes) Combs died on June 21, 2013, at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown, Mo. She died at the age of 101. Alleyne was born January 12, 1912 to the late Authur Valentine Sitzes and Senia (Brown) Sitzes. Alleyne was married to Lester David Combs, Sr. on November 22, 1934.
Proceeding Mrs. Combs in death is her husband (Lester David Combs, Sr), 3 sons: Lester David Combs, Jr, Kenneth W.A. (Moby) Combs, Edward Combs-died at birth and Daughter Maleta Tinnin.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Sandy Poor of Marquand, MO. and Senia Ann Jones of DeSoto, Mo. She is survived by 7 Grand Children and 5 Great Grand Children and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Alleyne was a Member of the First Baptist Church of Marquand, Mo. where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years. She worked at Angelica Uniform Co. in Marquand for over 40 years. She graduated from Flat River High School in 1932.
The things she enjoyed most was being with her family, Church & working with the young children, Baking & Cooking and doing things to help others.
