Ethel S. (Link) Rehkop was born on October 31, 1944 at Madison County, Missouri the daughter of George and Ola (Shafer) Link and passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 80 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Rehkop whom she was united in marriage to on June 6, 1970 at the Cobalt Village General Baptist Church in Fredericktown, brothers Curtis Link, Harry Link, and Ernest "Buddy" McDowell, one sister Edith Link, and great grandson Trumann James Deese.

Ethel is survived by one daughter Dawn (Jeff) Matthews of Fredericktown; one granddaughter Jessika Matthews of Fredericktown; four great grandchildren Aspyn, Willow, Memphis, and Hattie; one brother Ray (Cande) Link of Fredericktown; three sisters Ida (Don) Firebaugh of Annapolis, Missouri, Doris Young of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, Vada (Jim) Settle of Fredericktown, and Norma Helm of Fredericktown; and a very special lady and caregiver Mary Lord. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ethel was of the General Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and working on her farm.
