Evelyn Wilhemina (Starkey) Barker was born on April 10, 1932 at Marquand, Missouri the son of Lester J. and Virginia Catherine (Shetley) Starkey and passed away on October 29, 2012 at her residence at the Spring Valley Community, Missouri at the age of 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Loy Edward Barker whom she was united in marriage to on October 6, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and also infant daughter Gayla Jean Barker and brother James Melvin Starkey. Evelyn is survived by one son Stephen Lynn (Kandi) Barker and children Shianna, Mary, and David, two (2) grandchildren Joshua James Barker, and Jessica Renee Barker, and great grandchildren Zachary Bryan Barker, Jesse James Barker, Shane Edward, and unborn baby Uriah Ishma. Evelyn Barker attended both the Rhodes Chapel United Methodist Church and the Faith Tabernacle and enjoyed loving and raising children, quilting, collecting glass chickens, and loving people.
