Evelyn Whitener was born on August 28, 1929 at Fairview, West Virginia, the daughter of Rexie Earl and Edna Mae Connor, and passed away on January 3, 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald Whitener, who she married on April 30, 1950 at the Twelve Mile Baptist Church in Madison County, Missouri, two (2) sisters Louise Gilmore, Jean Edwards, and one (1) brother Bill Reese.

Evelyn is survived by one (1) son Alan Whitener and one (1) daughter Ruth Whitener.

She was a member of Fredericktown First Baptist Church, and enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and visiting with friends.
