Flora Beth "Flossie" Kemp was born on April 14, 1960 at Bonne Terre, Missouri the daughter of Winferd James and Betty Jo (Tripp) McDaniel Sr. and passed away on March 2, 2014 at Fredericktown at the age of 53 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Edward and Fannie Belle (winder) McDaniel and William Edward and Dollie (Cash) Tripp, one brother Winferd "Winnie" McDaniel Jr, infant sister Karen Ann McDaniel, one niece Jennifer Johnston, and mother-in-law Lena Kemp. Flossie is survived by her husband Jerry Kemp whom she was united in marriage to on October 4, 2003 at Tunes in Fredericktown, daughter Amy (Wesley) Royer of Fredericktown, step-son Jerry David Kemp of Wright City, Missouri, sister Carrie Jo (Rick) Menteer of Fredericktown, and two grandsons Benjamin and Arthur Royer. Also sister-in-laws Shelby McDaniel and Nancy Seymour, brother-in-laws JR Kemp and Danny Kemp, father and mother-in-law Earl and Kay Kemp, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Flossie was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed being outdoors doing lawn and yard work. She belonged to the Ladies Auxillary at the American Legion and Eagles Lodge and volunteered every year for special needs Christmas party. Flossie enjoyed doing for others and spending time with friends and family.
