Floyd Daniel Leonard Sr. was born on March 2, 1949, at St. Louis, the son of Floyd and Ethel Leonard, and passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 76 years.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Ryan James Leonard, infant brother David Leonard, brother Les Leonard, and sister Janet Laggermann.

Floyd is survived by his wife Nancy Leonard, who he married on April 21, 1973, at Esther Nazarene Church, one (1) son Dan (Sheryl) Leonard, one (1) daughter, Kayla (Chad) Sitze, one (1) sister, Liz (Harl) Sherrill, and five (5) grandchildren, Ashton Leonard, Jake Sitze, Blake Sitze, Braxton Sitze, and Waylon Sitze.

Floyd was a U.S. Army Veteran, he was a member of the Grace Church of the Heartland, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping others.
