Freda Pauline Jones-Short was born November 10, 1907 at Fredericktown the daughter of Phil and Annie(Maize) Howell and passed away on August 8, 2009 at Camelot Nursing & Rehab Center in Farmington, at the age of 101 years.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jr. Nifong, husband Robert Short, brother Earl Howell, sisters Mary Isbell,
Lillian Shook, Lora Smallen and Maymie Rickman. Her son-in-law Paul English.
Freda is survived by her daughter Kathryn English, sister Lena Smallen, seven (7) grandchildren and Eight (8) great grandchildren.
Freda was a member of the First Christian Church of Freddericktown for over 50 years, also the Rebekahs Lodge, and V.F.W for over 50 years.
