Gene "Butch" Mouser was born on February 16, 1949, at Marquand, the son of Elmer and Roseda Mouser, and passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife Carol (Myers) Mouser, one (1) son, Jamey Mouser, and numerous brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Butch is survived by his wife Clara, three (3) sons, Timothy (Melody) Mouser, Jeremy (Lori) Mouser, Steven (Angie) Mills, one (1) daughter, Sheri (Stephen) Wade, two (2) brothers, Ronnie (Gail) Mouser, Ed (Donna) Mouser, one (1) sister, Barb Mouser, nine (9) grandchildren, Drake (Allison) Mouser, Kaden Mouser, Allyson Mouser, Grant Mouser, Cecilia Mills, Michael Mills, Harper Mills, Arial Johnson, Stephanie Wright, one (1) great-grandchild, Richard Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.

Butch was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church, and he enjoyed farm shows, tractors, helping neighbors, mowing, and spending time with his family and friends.
