George Borgmann was born July 16, 1930 at St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Gustavus and Edna Borgmann, and passed away at his home in Fredericktown on August 10, 2017 at the age of 87 years.

George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joan (Dee) Borgmann, and one (1) sister Alice Wurdach.

George is survived by his twin brother Ernst (Red) Borgmann of Marquand, as well as nieces, nephews, step-children and grandchildren.

George served in the United States Army as a paratrooper, reaching the rank of Corporal.

He grew up in St. Louis and in his younger years his life revolved around horses and rodeos, performing many years as a trick rider.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and seemed to always be building something.

He moved to the country and lived there for over 30 years until the lord called him home on August 10.
