George William Land's Obituary
Reverend George William Land, 87, of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away March 22, 2011 in Farmington, Missouri.
George was born in Alton, Missouri on February 27, 1924 to Charles and Bessie Jane Moore Land.
George was united in marriage to Lottie on August 11, 1945 in Alton, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter Kimberly Ann Bowling, and one son-in-law Chuck Bowling. George is survived by one daughter Judith Ann Sullivan of Harviell, Missouri, one brother Charlie Miller, four grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Reverend George Land enjoyed serving God, serving others, and fishing.
Services will be held at the Follis and Sons Funeral Home on Friday March 25, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jim Latham and Rev. Carl Hutcheson officiating. Interment will be at the Chrisitian Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Gerald White, Michael Huffman, David Huffman, John Huffman, Christopher Bowling, and Jodie Finch.
