George Earl McKenney was born on September 24, 1939 at Muskogee, Oklahoma the son of Arthur and Rebecca Joyce (Thomas) McKenney and passed away on September 4, 2015 at Fredericktown at the age of 75 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ruth McKenney, and one nephew Mark Schnackenberg. He is survived by his wife Jody (Irwin) McKenney whom he was married to on June 10, 1967 at Bronough, Missouri, two sons Brian (Brandi) McKenney of St. Louis, and Andrew (Sabrina) McKenney of Farmington, one daughter Becky (Kevin) White of Fredericktown, one sister Ann Cooper of Springfield, Missouri, and nine grandchildren. George was a member of the Christian Church and served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed gardening, Church, spending time with his grandkids, and going to Las Vegas.
