George Arthur Rehkop was born July 31, 1926 at Flat River, Missouri the son of Floyd and Hattie Rehkop and passed away at his residence in Fredericktown on January 9, 2009 at the age of 82 years. George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Virginia Rehkop whom he married at Murray, Kentucky. One (1) daughter Patricia D. Ball, one (1) son Stephen D. Rehkop. Two (2) sisters Dorothy V. Brewington and Mary (Louise) Sensel, two (2) brothers Floyd D. Rehkop Jr. and Walter P. Rehkop who passed away in infancy. George is survived by four (4) sons George (David) Rehkop and wife Brenda, Timothy Rehkop, Warren A. Rehkop and Herbert (Randy) Rehkop and wife Teresa. Six (6) daughters Shirley (Larry) Boland, Wilma (Steve) Tinsley, Marcella Asher, Beverly (Dwayne) Tilk, Cynthia (Charles) Pulliam, Christina (Ronald) Cooper. Four (4) Brothers Robert Rehkop, Raymond Rehkop, James Rehkop, and Leeman Rehkop. Four (4) sisters Ruby M. Martin, Betty Marler, Clara Belle Skaggs, and Donna May Bellew. Twenty three (23) grandchildren and twenty two (22) great grandchildren. George enjoyed gardening, reading, and listening to gospel music especially the Gaithers.
