George David Torrez was born March 6, 1938 at Aboe, New Mexico, the son of George and Teresa (Luna) Toreez and passed away on March 4, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 73 years.
George was preceded in death by his parents, sons Cory Shane Torrez and Jerry Torrez, brother Joe Torrez and Benny Torrez, sister Lena Gusman.
George married Joyce Hovis on June 6, 1969 in Farmington, Missouri.
George is survived by his wife Joyce Torrez. Four (4) sons Shawn Torrez of Fredericktown, Lonny Torrez of New Mexico, George Torrez III of Texas & Lewis Torrez of Texas. Five (5) daughters Dawnette (Tim) Geen of Fredericktown, Shannon (Jeremy) Rehkop of Fredericktown, Camey (Lance) White of Fredericktown. Margie Torrez of Colorado & Teresa Gomez of Texas. Three (3) brothers Mamgarito Torrez of Brush, Colorado,Gilbert Torrez of Brush, Colorado & Lucino Torrez of Fort Morgan, Colorado. Three (3) sisters Polly Contreras, Mary Franco & Eloise Jimenez all of Fort Morgan, Colorado.
Twelve (12) grandchildren and Two (2) great grandchildren.
George was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed camping, spending time with family.
