Gerald Lee "Jerry" Tripp was born July 15, 1951 in Ironton, Missouri the son of Sam E. and Loretta (Darnell) Tripp and passed away on March 30, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 66 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Sammy Tripp, mother and father-in-law John & Wanda Johnson, sister-in-law Barbara Tripp, nephew Keith Tripp, great niece Mirah Miller and sister -in-law Becky Johnson.

Jerry is survived by his wife Sandra R. (Johnson) Tripp whom he married on December 22, 1973 at Silvermines. Also, two (2) sons Gerald Lee Tripp II of Fredericktown & Sam (Tommi) Tripp of Bonne Terre. Four (4) brothers Roger (Carla) Tripp of Fredericktown, Harry Tripp of Fredericktown, Tom (Lily) Tripp of Bismarck, Clifford (Sheila) Tripp of Fredericktown, Three (3) sisters Carolyn (Donald) Miller, Marilyn Jo (Melvin) Tesson & Susie (Dana) Watkins all of Fredericktown. Five (5) grandchildren Parker Tripp, Lilly Tripp, Emilee Tripp, Matthew Hurt & Bayli Rawson.

Jerry enjoyed racing, hunting, fishing, story telling to grandchildren and a second dad to many.
