Gerald Dale McClellan was born October 1, 1947 at Fredericktown the son of Earl and Pauline (Stephens) McClellan and passed away on October 30, 2019 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Earlene Rosetta (McClellan) Harris and brother Michael Dean McClellan.

Gerald is survived by a daughter Sheri Lynn (McClellan) Aldape, granddaughter Dotiana "Dot" Marie Aldape. Siblings Carl Edward McClellan, Deloris June (McClellan) Hawkins, Dorothy Sue (McClellan) Bollinger, Larry Lee McClellan, Teresa Lynn (McClellan) Wanner & Ricky Ray McClellan.  Also, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Gerald moved around a lot while growing up, after graduation he moved to St. Louis and worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft. He was drafted in the Army in November 1966 for 2 years, returning to Fredericktown after being discharged. Then moved to Fredenburg, Virginia and then to Texas and back to St. Louis working in plumbing and as a security guard.Gerald liked playing cards, especially Pinochle. Collecting the free gifts at the casinos. Beating his sisters and brothers and nieces at cards

Found comfort in his Church with his family at Silver Mines. Listening to music. Remember him as you will, but always see his smile.
