Geraldine Kay (Goad) Kemp was born on August 18, 1940 at Marquand, Missouri, the daughter of Lester and Ruby (Denbow) Cook, and passed away on December 8, 2021 at the age of 81 years.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Delano Clay Goad who she married on August 18, 1957, brothers Lester Jr., Joe, Frank, sisters Anna Mae, Dorothy, and grandson Jake Reed.

Kay is survived by her husband Earl Kemp, who she married on September 4, 2010, one (1) son Douglas (Lori Bassett) Goad, two (2) daughters Delania (Sam) Reed, Dawn Weekley, step-children Danny (Sheila) Kemp, Jerry Kemp, Jr Kemp, Nancy (Ed) Seymour, three (3) sisters, Patricia Peters, Betty Rauls, Shirley (Gene) Rauls, nineteen (19) grandchildren, and thirty-two (32) great-grandchildren.

Kay attended Twelve Mile Baptist Church and enjoyed all of her grandchildren, camping, bluegrass music, crosswords, reading, gameshows, and Cardinal baseball games.
