Glayds Mahoney was born on January 1, 1924 at Fredericktown the daughter of Benjamen and Katharine Rhodes and passed away on July 28, 2012 at Fredericktown at the age of 88 years. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Bill Mahoney, her parents, one brother Henry Rhodes, one sister Blanche Thomas, one niece Barbara Holland, and one great nephew David Zumwalt. She is survived by one nephew James Brewington, one niece Shirley Pruett, great nieces Kathryn Holland and Tracy Knowles, and great nephews Greg Pruett and Joey Pruett. Services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Follis and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Bess officiating. Interment was at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lindell Moore, Wendell Moore, Gary Moore, Jack Pruett, Greg Pruett, and Paul Hale.
