Glenda Mae Hinkle was born on January 20, 1931 at Desloge, Missouri the daughter Arthur and Mae (Sanders) Whitener and passed away at her home in Fredericktown on June 30, 2025 at the age of 94 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Joe Hinkle whom she was united in marriage to at Piggot, Arkansas, one son Alan Joe Hinkle, two brothers Gene Whitener and Larry Whitener, one sister Thelma Whitener Pope, and son-in-law Mike Sanders.

Glenda is survived by one son Clark Hinkle; one daughter Deborah Hinkle Sanders; one daughter-in-law Retha Hinkle; six grandchildren Jesse Sanders, Staci Lee, Zeb Sanders, Joni Figge, Thomas Hinkle, and Darrell Hinkle; ten great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

Glenda was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and enjoyed puzzles, sewing, coin collecting, and spending time with family especially with her grandchildren. Everyone knew Glenda had the patience of Job and was a kind and soft spoken person.
