Obituary

Glenda Nell Robinson Skaggs-Pierce, born July 2, 1934, in Patton, Missouri, to Joseph C. and Pearl (Stanfill) Robinson, entered into eternal rest on December 4, 2025, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, Missouri.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Lindel and Paul Robinson; her sisters, Mabel Boland, Wanda Green, Delma "Robb" Meyer, and Dean Crowell; her sons, John Paul Skaggs III and Robby Joseph Skaggs; her husband, Gerald H. "Jud" Pierce; her first husband, the father of her children, John Paul Skaggs II; and her step-daughter, Bonnie Mohan.


She is survived by her four daughters, Joan (Otis) Means, Donna (Jeff) Kline, Ruth Ann (Roger) Stevens, and Beth Matthews; one (1) daughter-in-law Missy Skaggs, her step-children, Michael and Calie Pierce, Gerald Hale Pierce II and Kathy, Terri and Marty O'Brien, Patti Zuck, and Tammi and Peter Slozyk; her special friend, Lloyd Lamb; her dearest friend of more than 80 years, Bobbie Lenhardt; close friends Elena and Mariya Serykh; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.


Glenda was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.


Family and friends are invited to gather at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri, on December 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., with her nephew, Pastor Gary Green, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's, in memory of Glenda.
