Obituary

Glenwood Tinsley was born on November 20, 1926 at Village Creek, Missouri the son of Jennings and Faye (Kennon) Tinsley and passed away on April 20, 2014 at Potosi, Missouri at the age 87 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruth May (Morris) Tinsley whom he was united in marriage to on August 18, 1949 at Fredericktown; four brothers Edwin Tinsley, John Tinsley, William Tinsley, and Willis Eugene Tinsley; and seven sisters Bessie Skaggs, Helen Morris, Marie Guier, Emma Lou Tinsley, Imogene Tinsley, Juanita Tinsley, and Rosa Lee Tinsley. Glenwood is survived by three (3) sons Joseph (Patricia) Tinsley of Fredericktown, Brad (Wanda) Tinsley of Ironton, Lee (Barb) McAllister of Piedmont; four (4) daughters Donna (Lorn) Martin of Potosi, Rhonda Kay Tinsley of Fredericktown, Marsha (Ted) Breakfield of Potosi, and Kathrine (Robert) Lawler of Fredericktown; four (4) brothers Harry Eugene (Betty) Tinsley of Troy, Raymond (Anita) Tinsley of Iowa, Roy (Joyce) Tinsley of Fredericktown, and Kenneth (Doris) Tinsley of Fredericktown; and two (2) sisters Betty Raymond of Fredericktown and Hilda Lenaburg of Iowa. Also fifteen (15) grandchildren, twenty six (26) greatgrandchildren, and seven (7) great greatgrandchildren. Glenwood was a member of the Twin Oaks Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed farming, fishing, family, and working.
