Godfrey Waldmann was born on April 6, 1938 at Offenbach, Germany, the son of Theodore and Lilly Waldmann, and passed away on January 31, 2019 at Fredericktown at the age of 80 years.

Godfrey was preceded in death by his parents.

Godfrey is survived by his wife Marylou, whom he married on June 6, 1977 at St. Louis, siblings Winfried (Veda) Waldmann, Rita Prichard, and Beate (Christo) Daniel.

Godfrey was a member of St. Michaels Church in Fredericktown, and was a member of Knights of Columbus Fr. Lewis Tucker Council.
