Obituary

Harol LaVern Rowe was born January 31, 1935 in Beaufort, North Carolina the son of Ottis Bryan and Minnie Bell (Smith) Rowe, and passed away on March 11, 2009 in St. Louis at the age of 74 years.
Harol was preceded in death by his parents, and one (1) brother Oscar Winfield Rowe.
Harol is survived by his wife Jean Marie (Benwell) Rowe whom he married on March 7, 1958 at St. Louis. One (1) son David Vison Rowe of Ironton, one (1) daughter Esther Lavern Rowe of Fredericktown, six (6) grandchildren Laryssa Alexander, Kaycelyn Alexander, Makcum Moore, Meghan Rowe, Austin Rowe, Ashley Udy, and one (1) great-grandchild.
Harol was a member of First Baptist Church of Fredericktown. He enjoyed deer hunting, race cars, and church work.
Harol retired from McDonnel Douglas in 1991, he then moved down to Dayspring Bible Camp in Ironton, where he was a commended worker sent from Lake Charles Bible Chapel in O'Fallon, MO.
Harol spent 10 years there as caretaker. His final years were spent in Fredericktown working with friends and loved ones. and First Baptist Church family.
He was a decon in the church, and always available and willing to help with any project at the church and always willing to give his time and resources to further the work of Christ here on earth.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 16, 2009 at the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Tom Johnson officiating.
Full military honors are under the direction of Missouri Military Honors.
