Helen L. Huffman-Thompson was born December 3, 1921 at Mt. Pisgah Community at Saco, Missouri the daughter of Charlie & Zella (Spain) Hinkle and passed away on December 29, 2010 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 79.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Regina Randolph, husbands Willard Huffman whom she married in 1950 at Mt. Pisgah Community, who passed away on June 10, 1971 and Wayne Thompson whom she married in 1977 at Ellisnore, Missouri who passed away on July 24, 2000.
Helen is survived by One (1) daughter LaDonna Mills & husband Harold and One (1) son Kim Huffman & wife Connie. Four (4) sisters Joyce Knodell & husband Tommy, Leanna Huffman, Phyllis Whitener & husband Glennon & Janice Bollinger & husband Ronald. One (1) brother Bob Hinkle & wife Jane. Two (2) step-children Nancy Thompson & John Thompson & wife Kathy. Five (5) grandchildren, Two (2) step-grandchildren, Four (4) step-great grandchildren. Many nieces & nephews.
Helen was a member of Coldwater Missionary Baptist Church, Madison Memorial Ladies Auxiliary, volunteered many years with the M.M.C. Auxlliary, Fredericktown Area Nutrition Center & Thrift store.
