Helen Inez Kennedy was born on December 26, 1928 at Broseley, Missouri, the daughter of Ambrose and Cora James and passed away on February 13, 2013 at the Southbrook Nursing Home in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 84 years. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd "Dink" Kennedy whom she was united in marriage to on July 27, 1946 at Chicago, Illinois, two (2) sisters Vella Kennedy and Joyce James, and three (3) brothers Kenneth James, Melvin James, and Jay B. James. Helen is survived by one (1) daughter Tammie (Tom) Collier of Bonne Terre, Missouri, two (2) brothers Curtis James of Brookfield, Illinois and Jerry James of Sandwich, Illinois, and one (1)sister Betty Crider of Scottsdale, Arizona. Also two (2) grandchildren Ashley(Jeff) Armbruster of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and Erica (Stephen) Foss of Fredericktown, Missouri and five (5) great grandchildren Kylea, Landon, Ryan, Landon, and Liam. Helen was a member of the New Home General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and the Ladies AMVETS . She enjoyed baking, spending time with family and especially the grandkids, and ceramics.
