Helen "Sissy" Woods Miller was born on July 31, 1941 at Silvermines, Missouri the daughter of Millard and Velma (Allen) Walker and passed away on April 2, 2025 at Ozark Manor Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 83 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Russell Woods whom she was united in marriage to on January 9, 1960 at Roselle, Missouri, her second husband Melvin Miller, a son Clark Woods, brothers Brad Walker and Doug Walker, sister Edna Alene Francis, and daughter-in-law Crystal Woods.

Helen is survived by one son Duane (Tricia) Woods of Fredericktown; daughters Cynthia (Brian) Griffon of Fredericktown, Doris Woods of Fredericktown, and Lisa (Brad) Crocker of Ironton; brother Greg (Sherry) Walker of Fredericktown; sisters Reba (Jeff) Harbison of Ironton and Brenda (Ron) Watson of Fredericktown; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren with one on the way; and two great great grandchildren.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, mowing grass, and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Helen also loved doing puzzles and then everyone that visited her got to take one home.
