Herbert Daniel Peters was born on October 20, 1925 at Charleston, the son of Edmond and Mabel Peters, and passed away on March 29, 2009 at the age of 84 years.
Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, one son Daniel Peters, and one brother Donald Peters.
Herbert is survived by his wife Leona whom he married on November 28, 1946 at St. Louis, two (2) daughters Peggy (Al) Barnes of Perryville, Pamela Scott of Fredericktown, one (1) sister Donetta Young of Perryville, four(4) grandchildren, eleven (11) great-grandchildren, and two (2) great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends.
Herbert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ferguson, he was a veteran of the United States Navy, and he enjoyed trains, and antique cars.

Visitation will be held after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday March 31, 2009 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday April 1, 2009 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Cebulok officiating.
Interment Marcus Memorial Park
