Homer Mouser was born April 19, 1931 at Marquand, the son of Charlie and Zona Mouser, and passed away on Thursday May 9, at Fredericktown at the age of 88 years.

Homer was preceded in death by his parents, seven (7) siblings Leroy Mouser, Lela Mouser, Elwood Mouser, Virginia Cook, Rosa Starkey, Paul Mouser, Joyce Vincent, and one (1) grandson-in-law A.J. Begley.

Homer is survived by three (3) daughters Sheree (Roger) Vandeven, Melanie (Steve Dillon) Mouser, Roxanna (John) Johnson, four (4) grandchildren Gwen (Adam) Long, Jill Begley, Cody (Mandi) Britton, Hannah DeVeydt, four (4) great-grandchildren Alex Long, Tristin Long, Vivian Begley, and Trevor Britton.

Homer was a United States Veteran, a member of Marquand Methodist Church, and enjoyed I.H. tractors, hanging around all of his coffee shop friends, and loved knowing his was the oldest single family owned farm in Madison County, dating back to 1804.
