Ilene F. Hovis was born on January 16, 1931 at Marquand, Missouri the daughter of Nathan and Mabel (Finley) Yow Sr. and passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 94 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Hovis Sr, her husband of 58 years, a son Willard (Butch) Hovis Jr, and one brother Jesse L. Yow.

Ilene is survived by one son Ronald D. Hovis of Katy, Texas; one daughter Janet Renshaw of Barnhart, Missouri; one brother Nathan C. Yow of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren Jenna and Jason Roussin, Jamie and Chris Partin, Chris Hovis, Andy and Alyssa Hovis, and Tyler Hovis; and great grandchildren Asher and Adam Roussin, Emry and Reagan Partin, Jacob Reddick, Emily, Grayson, and Penelope Hovis, and Carson Hovis.
