Irma G. (Shryock) Lane, 91, of Fredericktown, MO, died October 11, 2013, at Ozark Manor in Fredericktown. Irma, the daughter of Ernest and Esther Scowden Shryock, was born on June 3, 1922, in Cornwall, MO. Preceding her in death were her parents, her brother Stanley Shryock, and husband, Paul G. Lane, whom she was married September 2, 1939.

Surviving Mrs. Lane are three sons: Gary and Vicki Crites Lane of Jackson, MO; Hal and Sandra Pogue Lane of Fredericktown; Ed and Carla Counts Lane of Lexington, KY. She has five grandchildren, Gary and Debbie Lane of Lafayette, IN; Steve and Kim Lane of Rogers, AR; Becky Lane McCoy of Rogers, AR; Cory Lane of Colorado Springs, CO; and Allyson and Devin Rhodes of Lexington, KY. She was proud of her seven great-grandchildren, Gary Lane III, Mason and Sophie Lane, Drake Anthony, Collier McCoy, Jeremy and Ashley Lane, and her two great-great grandchildren, Lane Gurley and Ava Lane. She also leaves three special nephews, Barry, Lee and Tom Shryock.

Irma was in the Garden Club and was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fredericktown where she played the piano and organ for many years. She served on the Presbytery governing board and the women's organization and was recognized many times for her contributions to her beloved church.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Follis and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Lindell Sikes officiating with burial at the Snowdenville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Follis and Sons Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
