James Michael Baker was born April 8, 1946 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri the son of Paul Clifford and Ruth Rose (Bremser) Baker and passed away on September 18, 2010 at his residence in Patton, Missouri at the age of 64 years.
James was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janet Sue Baker, brothers Tom Baker and Larry Baker.
James married Cheryl (Thurman) Baker on May 27, 1995 at Mountain View Church at Marquand, Missouri.
James is survived by his wife Cheryl Baker of the home, son James Michael Baker II of Pensacola, Florida, daughters Victoria Lynn Baker of Pensacola, Florida, Stacy Lynn Watts of St. Charles, Missouri and Nichole Rene Heironimus of St. Peters, Missouri. Three (3) brothers John Baker of Jacksonville, Florida, Don Baker of San Diego, California & David Baker of Davenport, Iowa. One (1) sister Carol Bohn of Fredericktown. Two (2) grandchildren Marc and Braxton.
James was of the Protestant Faith. He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam service Medal with Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Meritous Unit Commendation (3) and Good Conduct Medal (4).
James enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving his Subaru WRX.
