James "Roy" Cole was born on September 25, 1929 at Perry County, Missouri the son of James and Hattie (Thompson) Cole and passed away on December 19, 2013 at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown at the age of 84 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rose Mary Cole whom he was united in marriage to in June 1959 at St. Louis, Missouri. He is survived by one son Jim (Lana) Cole of Perryville, four brothers Jerry Cole of Perryville, Terry (Leona) Cole of Ditmer, Missouri, Larry Cole of Cedar Hill, Missouri, and Don Cole of Ditmer, Missouri, one sister Virginia (Charles) Morris of Fredericktown, and one grandson. Roy was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed playing guitar, working on automobiles, farming, and building all types of things out of cardboard.
