James Harold (Jim) Frey of Chaffee, Missouri was born February 13, 1954, in Fredericktown, Missouri and passed away January 19, 2026, at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 71 years.

He was the son of Harold Marian and Esther Mae (Edmond) Frey who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by two sisters.

Jim is survived by his spouse, Jennifer Frey and two sons, Lukis Frey and Johnathon Frey and sisters, Janice Rowland, Barbara Firebaugh and Kelly Heady; also three grandchildren, Lane, Ashtyen and Meya Frey.

Jim enjoyed hunting, trapping, trading, fishing and found much pleasure in what he termed as tinkering. He loved being outdoors and found much joy in watching and feeding the squirrels.
