James Ernest Hicks was born April 12, 1948 at Troy, Ohio, the son of James & Jurlene Hicks, and passed away on July 17, 2010 at his residence at the age of 62 years.
James was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father in law Barney, and Sylvia Francis, brother in law David Francis, and Niece Angela Marie Jones.
James is survived by his wife Joyce, whom he married on October 5, 1969 at Farmington, one (1) son James E. Hicks of Fredericktown, two (2) daughters Becky Kennedy of Fredericktown, April Pingel of Fredericktown, two (2) brothers Dale Hicks of Ohio, Leonard Hicks of Ohio, one (1) sister Connie Hicks of Ohio, and five (5) grandchildren.
James enjoyed fishing, antique cars, and going to flea markets.

SERVICES: 11:00 A.M. TUESDAY JULY 20, 2010 AT THE FOLLIS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, WITH BRO. CLYDE BESS AND BRO. DERRICK MEEK OFFICIATING.
