James E. "Jim" Bollinger was born on February 28, 1935, at Madison County, Missouri, the son of Omer and Nina Bollinger, and passed away October 31, 2025, at the age of 90 years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and two (2) sisters, Martha Lucille Clark, and Virginia Lee Wrausmann.

Jim is survived by his wife Dorothy (Coley) Bollinger, who he married on June 5, 1955, at Coldwater Methodist Church, two (2) daughters, Diana Lynn (Bob) Eckhardt, Rebecca Gay (Rick) Peters, one (1) brother, Ronnie (Jan) Bollinger, two (2) sisters, Alma Asher, Beverly Reed, six (6) grandchildren, Aaron Eckhardt, Jamie (Kyle) Matthews, Shawn Peters, McKenna (Pat) Peters, Sabra (Jake) Peters, Julia Peters, and four (4) great-grandchildren, Iris Sullivan, June Sullivan, Rigo Peters, and Lainey Matthews.

Jim enjoyed hunting, woodworking, all outdoor activities, clock collecting, refinishing antiques, and spending time with his family.
