James Edward Kemp was born June 24, 1942 in Fredericktown the son of Everett Edward Kemp and Thelma (Virgin) Kemp and passed away on September 7, 2018 at his residence at the age of 76 years.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Two (2) brothers and daughter Kathy May.

James married Margaret (McElyea) Kemp on January 28, 1972.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Kemp, Four (4) sons Jimmy Kemp & Johnny Kemp both of Winter Haven, Florida, Ronnie Kemp & Dale Kemp both of North Carolina. Four (4) daughters Patty (Tom) Pogue & Angie (Mike) Oakley both of Fredericktown, Carol (Gabi) Lopez of Perryville, Mo., and Christina of Illinois. Eleven (11) grandchildren and sixteen (16) great grandchildren.

James was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle in Fredericktown. He loved fishing, playing music and spending time with family.
