Jane Howell was born July 23, 1917 at Eminence, Missouri the daughter of Steve and Adaline Hughes and passed away on April 10, 2012 at Park Hills, Missouri at the age of 94 years.Jane was united in marriage to Rev. Melvin H. Howell on April 18, 1936 in Eminence, Missouri. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter Billie Snow, two (2) grandsons Steven Snow and Lee Howell, and one great grandson Jeremy Prsha.
Jane is survived by two (2) sons John (Wendy) Howell of Rolla, Missouri and Carl Howell of Fredericktown, Missouri; one daughter Marjory (Lindell) Graham of Perry, Missouri, and one brother Dr. Carl Hughes of Maryland. Also fourteen (14) grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Jane was a member of the Coppermines Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and church work.
