July 24, 1943 – April 22, 2018
Jerry James Moser was born July 24, 1943 in Fredericktown the son of Clyde & Ruby (Cooper) Moser and passed away on Away April 22, 2018 at his residence in Jackson, Missouri at the age of 74 years.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Lee Moser, Two (2) nephews Robby Moser and Richie Moser and a niece Shelley Moser.
Jerry married Betsy Dugge on December 4, 1965 in Fredericktown. To this union 3 children were born, Jerry James "Jay" Moser II, Deana Lynette (Moser) Cash and Michael Ryan Moser.
Jerry was a graduate of Rolla with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked for PPG Industries for 42 years.
Jerry was in ROTC for 4 years, and a Viet-Nam Veteran, serving in the United States Army 1966 thru 1968. He was a 1 st Lieutenant and proudly served his Country.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Betsy and their children Jay (Jennifer) Moser, Deana Moser Cash & Michael Ryan Moser. Three (3) grandchildren Jacob Ryan Moser, Jacey Nicole Moser and Michaela Lynn Cash. Two (2) brothers Dan (Paula) Moser, Darrel (Dana) Moser, dear brother-in-law Dick (Helen) Dugge, dear sister-in-law Judy Lawrence and an aunt Hilda Hunt. Many nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends are left to mourn his passing.
Jerry loved his family, God and Country and will be so missed by all who knew him.
He was a charter member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church of Fredericktown. Where he served as treasurer, speaker and Sunday School teacher for many years. His love for God touched many people in the community, now he is in God's presence, free from pain and the physical bonds of this Earth.
