Jim Halpin was born on February 12, 1944 at Fredericktown the son of Emmett and Louella (Beasley) Halpin and passed away on May 22, 2016 at Fredericktown at the age of 72 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Mary Lou Bumbalough and Linda Mae Halpin, and grandparents William and Bertha Halpin. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Speer) Halpin whom he was united in marriage to on April 17, 2013 at Fredericktown, one son J.T. Halpin, daughter Angie Brotherton, one step-son Patrick (Tracy) Poindexter, five brothers Daniel Halpin, Stanley Halpin, Donnie Halpin, Pete Halpin, and Michael Halpin, seven sisters Ruth Foulon, Susie Abrigo, Debby Boone, Patty Davis, Lynn Davis, Barbie Thompson, and Tracy Edmonds, two grandchildren Anna Pickert and Tim Cook, two step-grandchildren Thomas Poindexter and Levi Poindexter, and two great great grandchildren Caleb Pickert and Maddy Pickert. Jim attended Calvary Church and enjoyed barbeques. Jim proudly served in the United States Army where he served two tours in Vietnam.
