Jimmie Edmund Kennedy was born January 5, 1934 at Reynolds County, Missouri the son of Nona John and Neoma Unis (Barton) Kennedy and passed away on March 15, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 76 years.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, son John David Kennedy, sister Virginia Kennedy Edwards.
Jimmie married Thelma Ann (Fikes) Kennedy on March 5, 1955 at the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, Missouri.
Jimmie is survived by his wife Thelma Kennedy, Two (2) sons David Wayne Kennedy and Kenneth Edmund Kennedy both of Fredericktown, One (1) daughter Marilyn Sue Zimmerman of Fredericktown. One (1) brother Paul Edward Kennedy of Dexter, Missouri and One (1) sister Ruby Geraldine Armbruster of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. Six (6) grandchildren and Eleven (11) great grandchildren.
Jimmie enjoyed being outdoors, and arranging flower baskets.
