Jimmy Lee Shaffer was born on February 9, 1952 at St. Louis, Missouri the son of Paul and Alverna (Berry) Shaffer and passed away on August 3, 2015 at Lodi, Missouri at the age of 63 years. He was preceded in death by his grandson James Jeremy Shaffer. He is survived by his parents, his wife Sue (Cluck) Shaffer whom he was united in marriage to on May 27, 1975 at Mine La Motte, Missouri, one son Brent Jeremy (Bridget) Shaffer of Lodi, two daughters Kelly (Charlie) Causey of Farmington, Missouri and Cassie (Steve) Marler of Lodi, one brother Norman (Carol) Shaffer of Henderson, Texas, and five grandchildren Samantha and Nicholas Shaffer, Carli and Jenna Marler, and Mikayla Marler. He was a member of the Oak Dale General Baptist Church and enjoyed farming, hunting, and especially training dogs and horses.
