Joey "Fuzzy" Pruett was born on December 20, 1958, the son of Bob (Shirley) Pruett and Joann Turnbeau, and passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 65 years.

Joey is preceded in death by his father Bob Pruett, mother Joann Turnbeau, and his wife Fritzie Dee Pruett.

Joey is survived by his loving life partner Joy Starkey, three (3) children, T.J. (Tara) Pruett, Jessica Matlock, Tanner Berrey, one (1) brother, Gregg (Tracey) Pruett, one (1) sister, Tracy (Tom) Knowles, five (5) grandchildren, Zetta Farrar, Saoirse Joee Matlock, Riggin Matlock, Marissa Hale, Brigg Hale, and several nieces and nephews.

Joey enjoyed chuckwagon races, rodeo, playing with his ponies, and spending time with his grandkids and family.
