John Wayne Burton was born on March 20, 1956, at Danville, Illinois, the son of Hollas Burton and Barbara Tarango, and passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 69 years.

John was preceded in death by his brother Terry Alen Burton.

John is survived by his parents, three (3) children, Joe Burton, Marshall Burton, Angie Burton, and three (3) siblings, Sherry (Harold) Ujakovich, Danny Lee Burton and Hollie (Don) Drew.

John was of the Christian Faith, and he enjoyed old cars, restoration and spending time with his family and friends.
