John "Gene" Keith was born June 5, 1929, at Goodland, Missouri, the son of Sherman, and Bessie Keith, and passed away on January 10, 2012 at the age of 82 years.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) daughter Iris Newkirk, one (1) son Kenneth Keith, two (2) granddaughters Arlene Newkirk, Tammy Keith, one (1) great-grandson Cody Campbell, and one (1) brother Paul Keith.
Gene is survived by Arlin (Sally) Keith of Fredericktown, Dennis (Mary) Keith of Belleview, two (2) sisters, Rita Mohrman of Cedar Hill, Wilma Davis of Ironton, and eight (8) grandchildren.
Gene was a huge fan of music, loved playing his fiddle, and was even known to some as "Fiddlin Gene."
