John Carl Hinkle was born April 9, 1963 in Fredericktown, Missouri the son of William Glendle and Maple Trula (Miller) Hinkle and passed away on March 14, 2025 in Park Hills, Missouri. At the age of 61 years.

John was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Earl L. Hinkle.

John is survived by his children September Lynn Hinkle and Clayton Edward Hinkle. He's also survived by his siblings Leona J. Fields (Claude), Trula F. Brown (Thomas), Kathleen A. Loyd, Lorraine K. Moore (Gary), William G (Bill) Hinkle (Patti), Lowell D. Hinkle.

John joined the U.S. Marine Corps on May 5, 1985 in and was discharged on March 11, 1993 reaching the rank of Corporal. Receiving many medals while in service to his country, Good Conduct, Rifle Expert badge Pistol Sharpshooter Badge, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Letter of Appreciation and 4- Meritorious Mast Awards.

John was a corrections Officer, House parent for Children's Home and Medication Technician
