John R. Kelley was born on May 22, 1924 at Marquand, the son of Marshall and Dora Kelley, and passed away on April 18, 2020 at the age of 95 years.

John was preceded in death by his wife Alamae Kelley who he married on October 12, 1946, his parents, five (5) brothers Frankie Joe Kelley, Benjamin Francis Kelley, Oscar Rayford Kelley, Robert Otis Kelley, Donald Gene Kelley, three (3) sisters Jessie Marie Loewe, Cora L. Williams, and Betty Lois Gann.

John is survived by two (2) sisters Octa Mae Trentham, and Kathryn Ellen Gebhard.

John was of the Baptist Faith, was a Private 1 ^st Class with the 82 ^nd Airborne, was awarded three (3) bronze stars, and he enjoyed going to church, traveling, watching wheel of fortune every night, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
