John C. Polete was born on May 2, 1929 at Flat River, Missouri the son of Wm. Harley and Floy (Young) Polete and passed away on April 25, 2014 at his residence in Fredericktown at the age of 84 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruth Conrad Polete whom he was united in marriage to in May 1953 at Fredericktown, and one son Randall John Polete. John C. is survived by one daughter Janet (James) Miller of Fredericktown, two brothers William H. (Rose) Polete of Festus, Missouri and Glennon (Helen) Polete of Farmington; three grandchildren Lucas (Melissa) Miller, Amanda Miller, and Angela (Kevin) Griffon; eight great grandchildren; and special friend Jennie Cooper. John loved spending time with his family and his work and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
