John Winford Rohan, 76, of Zalma was born on June 22, 1941, in Lodi, MO, the son of John and Mabel (Earnest) Rohan, and departed this life on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.

John loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He also loved fishing and spending time outdoors.

He was united in marriage in July 1963 to Yvonne Rose Hopkins, in Denton, Texas, and to this union six children were born. He is survived by Henry (Tammy) Hopkins of Calvert City, Ky, Rosetta Thomas of Marion, Illinois, Tim (Michelle) Rohan of Zalma, Mo, Tammy Rohan of Zalma, Mo, Tommy (Dorothy) Rohan of Wappapello, Mo, Jerry (Jennifer) Rohan of Glenallen, Mo, Bradley (Melissa) Rohan of Lowndes, Mo. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and by one brother and one sister, James Rohan and Nettie Jones, both of Fredericktown, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son Windell Rohan, one grandson, Dewayne Rohan, one granddaughter, Serena Rohan, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 10-1 Saturday June 9, 2018 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Mo.

Funeral will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Bro. Dale Rogers officiating. Burial will be at Roselle-Graniteview cemetery.
