John M. Snyder Sr. was born on September 18, 1951 at Murphysboro, Illinois, the son of Lee and June Snyder Sr., and passed away on December 21, 2019 at the age of 68 years.

John was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) sister Patricia Snyder, one (1) infant brother Stephen Snyder, and one (1) granddaughter MayLee Shults.

John is survived by his wife Lisa, who he married on May 11, 1985 at Fredericktown, four (4) sons John (DeAnne) Snyder Jr., Andy (Jennifer) Snyder, Jacob (April) Shults, Cory (Alyssa) Snyder, two (2) daughters Stephanie Dowd, Jasmyn Schmitz, two (2) brothers Lee Grant (Cyndi) Snyder Jr., Joseph (Ginger) Snyder, fourteen (14) grandchildren, and nine (9) great-grandchildren.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids and family.
