John Wesley "Jack" Wafler Jr. was born on June 5, 1936 at St. Louis the son of John and Lillian Wafler and passed away on February 12, 2018 at Fredericktown at the age of 81 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorthea "Dottie" (Abler) Wafler whom he was united in marriage to on December 28, 1984 at Mississippi County, Arkansas, step-son Herbert Abler Jr. and sister Phyllis Wafler.

He is survived by his sister Nancy (Marvin) Beard, brother Mark (Tammy) Wafler, niece Nancy (Patrick) Martin, nephew John (Jill) McDowell, two (2) great nieces, three (3) great nephews, one (1) great great nephew.

Jack worked for General Motors for 30 years and was a life member of VFW post 4320. He enjoyed traveling, playing the ukulele, spending time with his family and at the Eleven Point River, and playing with his cat Sammy.
